As part of a large interdisciplinary programme funded by the Wellcome Trust, this is an exciting opportunity for a senior scientist to take responsibility for research to develop behavioural interventions to decrease the consumption of meat and dairy products. You will be a senior member of the Health Behaviours team, led by Professors Susan Jebb and Paul Aveyard and collaborating with colleagues across the university. The post offers considerable scope for a researcher to develop his or her own independent research to change eating behaviours including the opportunity for research in partnership with supermarkets.
With a PhD and substantial postdoctoral experience in a relevant discipline, you will have an in-depth understanding of behavioural science and the development of complex interventions. You should have a strong commitment to stakeholder and public engagement. You will have demonstrated your ability to work independently, taking a strategic approach to developing a research area.
The post is available full-time until 31 May 2021. Part-time working or job share may be possible.
