Reporting to Professor Susan Jebb and with close links to Lesley Paterson, university lead for public engagement, we are seeking an enthusiastic and skilful communicator. You will take responsibility for the coordination and delivery of the Public Engagement with Research activities as part of a team working on a large programme of research to investigate the future of meat and dairy with respect to both health and environment outcomes.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with significant practical experience in public engagement with research or community engagement. The post will include developing and building excellent working relationships with the research team and other staff across the university, and working alongside key external partners to enable successful delivery of the public engagement activities such as local or national festivals.
The post is available part-time at 60%FTE until 31 May 2021.
