We are looking for a Group Leader with research interests in infection, immunity or tumour immunology to build a research programme relating to cancer biology. You will hold a relevant PhD/DPhil qualification and possess significant post-qualification research experience.
As a Group Leader you will develop an effective, productive research group, supervise postgraduate researchers and graduate students and form constructive collaborations. You will receive mentorship from senior group leaders within the Ludwig Institute and the wider Oxford community. In addition to your salary, funds will be available to establish a small research group.
You will have sufficient specialist knowledge in inflammation and/or immunology to develop research programmes and methodologies. As Group Leader, you will have excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present to the scientific community and the lay public.
