We are recruiting a Group Leader with research interests in infection, immunity or tumour immunology to head a research group relating to cancer biology.
You will have primary responsibility for the development, management and strategic direction of a significant research group with substantial resources from core and external funding. As a recognised authority in your field you will have an established international reputation that you will use to create effective collaborations for the benefit of the research group and Ludwig Institute. In addition to managing a research group, the post holder will contribute to the overarching vision and strategic direction of the Ludwig Institute of Branch.
As a Group Leader, you will have experience in leading successful and novel research programmes and of managing research staff and PhD students. In addition, you will have an international reputation and specialist knowledge in infection, immunity or tumour immunology.
You will have a successful track record of attracting funding and managing budgets and hold a relevant PhD/DPhil with significant post-qualification research experience.
