We have an exciting opportunity available for a Clinical Trial Administrator to join the Oncology Clinical Trials Office (OCTO), which forms part of the Department of Oncology and is also the oncology division of the UKCRC registered clinical trials unit, OCTRU (Oxford Clinical Trials Research Unit). OCTO has good working relationships with UK-wide study sites and international groups in Europe.
OCTO runs academic clinical trials to the highest standards and is proactive in improving clinical trial procedures and delivering high quality data.
You will provide support to a team of trial management professionals and will be involved in many aspects of clinical trial administration, such as study site set-up, corresponding with the regulatory bodies and R&D departments, handling clinical queries, checking trial data and organising trial meetings. Occasional travel will be required as part of this role.
You will be educated to A-level or equivalent in a biomedical or associated subject. You will have effective communication and inter-personal skills, as well as critical and intelligent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy. You will also have had experience of working to Good Clinical Practice guidelines and experience of UK clinical research structures, regulatory and ethical systems.
This is a full-time post, although part-time hours may be considered, and is available for two years in the first instance.
