We have a vacancy for an IT Support Officer in the team that provides managed desktop services to UAS (University Administration and Services and to GLAM (Gardens, Libraries and Museums). We provide technical support (2nd and some 3rd line) in a Microsoft Windows environment. In addition to supporting the day to day issues passed to us via the Service Desk, you may have opportunities to contribute to developing and improving our services as well as getting involved in associated project work.
You will be a real advocate of excellent customer service and demonstrate a drive and desire to deliver this alongside the provision of professional IT support. You will be a real team player but still be comfortable working alone. Prior experience of working in an IT technical support role is essential as is a good all-round knowledge of IT.
