The University of Oxford’s central IT Services Service Desk currently has a number of opportunities for talented individuals to join a dedicated team of IT professionals.
This large service desk team manages a broad spectrum of queries and requests from academics, students, staff and IT Support Officers across the University.
We are seeking candidates with a keen desire to support the widening range of technology in use within this diverse workplace.
These roles are best suited to individuals who thrive on working as part of a close-knit team but are equally happy to work with autonomy, taking responsibility for their own workload and seeing things through to conclusion.
We would like to hear from articulate communicators who possess the ability to translate technical explanations into customer-focussed language.
You will need to demonstrate great problem solving skills and the drive to always champion the customer.
As a Senior Service Desk Analyst you will be dedicated to service improvement. Your time will be spent guiding service desk analysts, providing specialist support and guidance, liaising with service providers, projects and technical teams and working to improve knowledge and skills within the team.
