Portfolio Management Office Administrator

Grade 5: 24,565 - 29,301 p.a.

The IT Services Portfolio Office supports a wide range of IT programmes and projects delivering business applications, core IT services, IT infrastructure and promoting the innovative use of IT in teaching and research.

Applications are invited for this varied and interesting role. The postholder will provide a range of administrative and support functions to the Portfolio Office team, including the collation of reports for senior management, maintenance of the Portfolio Office SharePoint site, the Portfolio Office shared mailbox and provision of guidance to project managers in the use of the project methodology.

You will have proven administrative experience within an IT projects environment. You will be self-motivated and well-organised with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. You will also have the ability to prioritise your own workload and work with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with an ability to relate confidently and professionally with colleagues across the University, are essential.

The closing date for applications is 12.00 midday on Monday 14 August 2017. Interviews are anticipated to take place on Wednesday 30 August 2017.
