Postdoctoral Researcher in DNA Damage and Ubiquitylation

Grade 7: £31,076 - £38,183 p.a.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join Dr Vincenzo D’Angiolella’s group at CRUK/MRC Oxford Institute of Radiation Oncology, University of Oxford. The primary focus of the Group is to identify novel signalling mechanisms of ubiquitylation in the DNA damage response mediated by E3 ubiquitin ligases and deubiquitylating enzymes.

You will have a PhD on the study of DNA damage response and/or brain cancers (medulloblastoma and glioblastoma), along with significant experience in biochemical, molecular and cell biology techniques, including but not limited to mammalian cell culture, genome editing, gene expression profiling and mass spectrometry-based proteomics.

Previous and relevant experience with ubiquitin biology as well as mass spectrometry-based proteomics is required. Previous experience in DNA damage response is highly desirable.

This is a full-time post offered for 3 years in the first instance.
