This role is an opportunity to be a key member of the team delivering thousands of hours of free open lectures to a global audience via Oxford’s media publishing channels
We are looking for a technical support officer for our media channels. You will provide technical support and management of the media publishing platforms such as Oxford iTunes and the website podcasts.ox.ac.uk. You will work at the central IT Services department alongside a wide range of staff (technical and non-technical) to develop and deliver online web services that have an excellent user experience. This post includes responsibility for the management of a set of technical systems delivering a high quality, user-focused service to staff in support of the university’s learning and teaching, research and public engagement activities.
You will contribute to the overall success, strategic development and management of the media publishing service alongside the section manager and manage high profile online services, projects and user policies.
While this is a full-time post, we also welcome applications from candidates who wish to work part-time (minimum 30 hours/0.8 FTE) and/or flexibly.
