We are seeking an exceptional, enthusiastic and motivated scientist possessing doctoral, and preferably postdoctoral, experience in mathematics, applied mathematics or computational modelling, with the ability to work to a high standard. Previous research experience, attention to detail and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
You will perform original research for and contribute to the ERC research programme led by Professor Francesca Buffa. You will have (or be working towards) a PhD in mathematics/computational biology/engineering or related field. Proficiency in standard mathematical modelling and statistics methodology is an essential requirement of the role, together with experience with machine learning. Prior experience with gene network modelling is preferable.
The position is full-time and is fixed-term for 3 years in the first instance.
Applicants should read the job description before writing their application. You will be required to upload a letter setting out how you meet the selection criteria and a CV including a statement of career interests and the contact details of two referees as part of your online application.
