We have an exciting opportunity for a GMP Production Technician to work in the day-to-day production of PET tracers in the PET Radiopharmacy Oxford’s (PROx) GMP Production and Quality Control Laboratories.
Reporting to the Radiochemistry Core Leader and liaising day-to-day with the GMP Production Manager, you will be involved in the final stages of setting up the facility’s new GMP production and QC laboratories for the synthesis of GMP grade PET radiotracers for clinical studies. You will participate in a wide range of tasks that include production, quality control, equipment and laboratory maintenance and incoming materials management. We seek a highly motivated individual who ensures that all work is carried out to the highest standard in compliance with local SOPs and the relevant GMP and MHRA guidelines.

You will require extensive experience of working in GMP clean rooms and isolators for dispensing, aseptic preparation and/or sterile manufacture of medicines. A demonstrable understanding of the principles of GMP and MHRA guidelines is essential, together with attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate and ordered experimental data and records to GMP. You will also have a willingness to work with radioactive materials and the ability to adhere to statutory health and safety and radiation safety guidelines pertaining to a radiochemistry laboratory.
