The University of Oxford has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager within our Programme and Projects Delivery team in IT Services, delivering a large capital programme of technology and business change. The Project Manager will have the opportunity of working on a variety of change projects, to help the University to deliver its strategic plan to lead the world in research and education.
You will work with stakeholders across the university to scope new project requests, lead the team to define solutions that meet business needs and deliver successful outcomes that allow benefits to be realised. As a Project Manager you will have demonstrable experience managing a variety of IT projects of some complexity and challenge using a recognised project management methodology. You will also have had sole responsibility for the delivery of a major project of £500k+ or for multiple simultaneous projects totalling that budget.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders is essential.
This post is offered fixed-term for 3 years.
While this is a full-time post, we also welcome applications from candidates who wish to work part-time (minimum 30 hours/0.8 FTE) and/or flexibly.
